Our research framework focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to accelerate innovation in materials science, beginning with the design of fabrication processes, progressing to the development of advanced devices and architectures, and ultimately enabling impactful applications across environmental, technological, and healthcare domains. In particular, we focus on AI-enhanced organic materials and devices —engineered for unique properties and high performance—offer transformative solutions for reducing emissions, improving energy efficiency, and supporting sustainable technologies.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Research Fellow or Research Scientist to join our interdisciplinary team focused on cutting-edge materials science research. The successful candidate will contribute to one or more of the following areas:
- AI-Driven Materials Discovery and Simulation
- Green Functional Fibers and Wearable Electronics
- Organic Semiconductors for Device Physics and Health Monitoring Applications
This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of materials science, artificial intelligence, electronics, and biomedical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct original research in one or more of the following areas:
- AI Materials / Simulation: Develop and apply machine learning models for materials prediction, design, and simulation. Collaborate on high-throughput computational screening and data-driven materials discovery.
- Green Functional Fibers / Wearable Electronics: Design and fabricate sustainable fiber-based materials with electronic functionalities. Integrate sensors and circuits into textiles for wearable health and environmental monitoring.
- Organic Semiconductor – Device Physics & Applications: Investigate the physical properties of organic semiconductors. Develop devices for health monitoring, including flexible sensors and bio-integrated electronics.
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including chemists, physicists, engineers, and data scientists.
- Mentor graduate students and contribute to grant writing and project proposals.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in materials science and related fields.

Qualifications:
- PhD in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong publication record in relevant areas.
- Experience with computational modeling, machine learning, or simulation tools (e.g., DFT, MD, ML frameworks).
- Hands-on experience in materials synthesis, device fabrication, or fiber/textile engineering.
- Knowledge of organic electronics, flexible devices, and biomedical applications is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills (either/or, depending on the specific topic):
- Programming skills (Python, MATLAB, etc.) for simulation and data analysis.
- Experience with polymer engineering and fabrication, characterization techniques (SEM, AFM, spectroscopy).
- Familiarity with sustainability principles in materials design.
- Prior involvement in interdisciplinary or industry-collaborative projects.
